Refund Policy – Viva Egypt Travel

1. Overview

At Viva Egypt Travel, our goal is to deliver unforgettable travel experiences while maintaining transparency and fairness in all transactions. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds are issued for tours, flights, hotel bookings, cruises, and pilgrimage packages.

By booking with us, you acknowledge and accept the terms described below.


2. General Rules

  • All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.

  • Refunds apply only to bookings made directly through Viva Egypt Travel (website, office, or authorized representatives).

  • Refund requests must be submitted in writing via info@vivaegypttravels.com.

  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed through the same payment method used for booking.


3. Cancellation by the Customer

Depending on the type of service, the following rules apply:

A. Tour Packages & Day Trips

  • More than 14 days before departure: Full refund minus administrative fees (10%).

  • 7–14 days before departure: 50% refund of total cost.

  • Less than 7 days before departure: Non-refundable.

B. Flights & Air Tickets

  • Airline refund policies apply. Viva Egypt Travel acts as an intermediary and cannot override airline rules.

  • Some promotional or low-cost tickets may be non-refundable.

C. Hotels & Nile Cruises

  • Refunds depend on hotel/cruise policies and seasonal availability.

  • Cancellations made within 10 days of check-in are subject to 50–100% charges.

D. Hajj & Umrah Packages

  • Non-refundable after visa issuance or once flight tickets are booked.


4. Cancellation by Viva Egypt Travel

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any tour due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, government restrictions, or insufficient participants.
In such cases, you will be offered one of the following:

  • A full refund, or

  • A credit voucher valid for future use within 12 months, or

  • An alternative tour of equal value.


5. No-Show Policy

If a customer fails to appear at the departure point on time or misses a scheduled flight, cruise, or transfer, no refund will be granted.


6. Refund Processing Time

Once approved, refunds are processed within 14–30 business days, depending on the payment method and banking procedures.


7. Force Majeure

Viva Egypt Travel is not liable for delays, cancellations, or losses caused by natural disasters, political events, strikes, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, refund eligibility will depend on our suppliers’ terms and conditions.


8. Changes to Bookings

Minor itinerary adjustments requested by the client may incur additional fees. Major changes (e.g., date or destination) are treated as new bookings and subject to cancellation rules.
